Buzz Lightyear and Woody have a new friend in Porsche.
The legendary German sports car maker has just unveiled three one-off 911s that will make their red-carpet debut at the premiere of Toy Story 5. Each of the cars, which are inspired by Buzz, Woody, and Jessie, are set to be auctioned off to benefit charity, too.
The unique 911s were crafted by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch, or Special Wishes, team. The collaboration—which is just the latest between the automaker and the studio’s parent company, Disney—is meant to be more than just a glitzy marketing ploy. The brands view it as both a creative challenge and a celebration of something important to both: storytelling.

“[Collaborating] with the Sonderwunsch team has been about interpreting these characters through materials, color, and form—staying true to who they are without being literal,” Pixar production designer Bob Pauley said last month, when the project was first teased last month. “It’s a design exercise rooted in storytelling.”
First up, is a 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz. The hardcore track beast is done up in a bold tri-color paint that echoes the look of the spaceman’s iconic suit. The colorful leather-covered interior features a bespoke character motif on the dashboard and his catchphrase “To Infinity and Beyond” inscribe on the door sills. It’s also equipped with the high-performance Weissach Package and a set of forged magnesium wheels.

Up next, is a 911 Targa 4 GTS inspired by Jessie. Its headline custom feature is an entirely new paint color called Jessie White Metallic that pays homage to the pearl buttons on her trademark western shirt. Highlighting the bespoke hue are 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic, Altacama Yellow, and GTS Red accents. The interior, meanwhile, is done up in custom-made Dark Night Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Pebble Grey leather.
Last, but not least, is a 911 Targa inspired by Woody. The most traditional member of the trio is finished in a custom hue that combines Golf Blue, Dark Sea Blue and White to mimic the patina of blue jeans. The car’s cabin is upholstered in a mixture of Brown vintage leather, denim fabric, and features a special red checkered pattern on its seat inlays.

The Toy Story 5 911s are set to make their public debut on Tuesday, during the world premiere of the film. They are also set to be the rare one-offs that will actually go up for grabs. The cars will be auctioned off in the near future, with proceeds going to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation. Who knows, maybe Tim Allen or Tom Hanks will decide to snag one of the bespoke rides.
