Jeremy Piven Takes Loss on $6.85 Million Sale of Los Angeles House

After nearly a decade of ownership, Jeremy Piven has officially offloaded his Los Angeles home tucked away in the Mount Olympus neighborhood of Hollywood Hills, high above the Sunset Strip.

First listed in early 2025 at $9.5 million and previously offered as a rental for around $35,000 per month, the modern spread has sold for $6.85 million. That is just $50,000 more than the actor paid in 2017, all but guaranteeing a net loss after luxury closing taxes. Piven, a three-time Emmy winner, is widely recognized for his role as high-powered talent agent Ari Gold in the HBO series Entourage.

Branden Williams, Rayni Williams, Michelle Saniei, and Trevor Wright of the Beverly Hills Estates held the listing, with Evan Domatsky, also of the Beverly Hills Estates, repping the buyer.

Built in 1980 and sleekly remodeled since, the white stucco and wood-accented structure sits securely behind walls and an automated gate on a flat, third-acre lot. Four bedrooms and five bathrooms are spread across roughly 6,200 square feet, where a floating glass staircase connects two switchback-style levels. Throughout the house, soaring walls of glass frame picturesque views stretching from downtown L.A. to the Pacific Ocean.

On the main level, a double-height foyer and an adjacent living room step down to a bookshelf-lined family room with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening out to a poolside terrace. An elevated dining area adjoins a marble and wood kitchen, which features custom rift-oak cabinetry, top-tier stainless-steel appliances, and an oversized island with an integrated breakfast bar.

Upstairs, one wing is occupied by a primary suite that has a fireside sitting area, a private terrace, and a bespoke dressing room, along with a limestone-clad bathroom anchored by a deep freestanding soaking tub and a steam shower. Three additional bedrooms in an opposite wing each have their own bathrooms.

Outside, the resort-like backyard hosts an infinity-edge pool and spa flanked by a manicured lawn and a sunken fire pit lounge below. There’s also a rooftop deck ideal for taking in the picturesque scenery, plus a spacious motor court and a three-car garage.
