Back in 2024—soon after three-time NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown helped the Celtics snag a league-record 18th championship and was named Finals MVP—he listed his industrial loft in South Boston‘s Fort Point neighborhood for $4.75 million. After taking it off the market and offering it as a luxury rental, he is trying again with a sweetened deal, packaging the top-floor penthouse with the adjacent studio residence he also owns next door.
Set in the Necco Landing building—a historic former textile factory spanning five levels—the side-by-side, top-floor units are on the market for a combined $5 million. Though the properties cannot be structurally adjoined, the 500-square-foot studio serves as ideal guest quarters or office space next to the primary 3,000-square-foot loft. Brown originally purchased the pair in October 2021, paying $5.5 million for the penthouse and roughly $500,000 for the studio.
George Sarkis and Roy Bahnam of The Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman hold the listing.

Containing three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a powder room, the loft showcases the original exposed brick walls and 12-foot-high wood-beam ceilings throughout. Oversized, teal-framed windows flood the space with natural light.
An open-plan great room features a living and dining area and a billiard table, plus a sleekly designed kitchen outfitted with an eat-in island that seats five, a Wolf range, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator. A roomy primary suite flaunts dual walk-in closets and a charcoal gray-tiled bath with a large terrazzo-clad shower, while an elevator-accessible entry foyer has a spiral staircase leading to a private, 400-square-foot rooftop deck offering picturesque views of the Seaport District.
As for the other place, it has a similar design aesthetic and comes with a living and dining area, a kitchen, and a single bath. The new owner will also be required to pay a collective $2,449 monthly maintenance charge, which encompasses heat and air-conditioning, water and sewer, master insurance, and trash removal. There’s also an exclusive resident’s entrance to the ground-floor Mooo…. Seaport restaurant.

Brown, who was drafted as the third overall pick by the Boston Celtics in 2016, agreed to a five-year, $304 million supermax contract extension in 2023. It was ranked as the richest deal in the NBA at the time, earning him an estimated average of about $60.8 million per year during the life of the contract.
The relisting of the penthouse sparked the NBA rumor mill. With Giannis Antetokounmpo heavily discussed on the trade market, league insiders have floated Brown’s name as a central piece in potential multi-team blockbuster packages. While several teams, including the Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, and New Orleans Pelicans, have all expressed legitimate interest, Brown has yet to make any public statements about wanting to leave Boston.
