Jalen Brunson’s Jersey From Game 1 of the NBA Finals Can Soon Be Yours

To say Knicks fever took over New York City is perhaps the biggest understatement of the year, with the Big Apple exploding with an electric energy (with sky-high ticket prices to match) as the team defeated the San Antonio Spurs in this year’s NBA Finals. And now one lucky fan can soon own a piece of that sweet victory for themselves.

Jalen Brunson’s game-worn jersey from Game 1 of the championship series is heading to auction via Sotheby’s this month. The point guard sported this lot as the Knicks took a 1-0 series lead again the Spurs in San Antonio on June 3.

The jersey also marks Brunson’s first NBA Finals appearance. In the game, the star notched 30 points, three rebounds, and two assists, leading the team to victory thanks to a crucial fourth-quarter performance. It’s something we saw again and again over the course of the entire season: Brunson was the heart and soul of the Knicks this year, meaning that the jersey may make quite the splash on the auction market.

Wemby’s Game 3 jersey from the 2026 NBA Finals is also up for grabs.

Other key pieces in the Knicks’ road to victory are also hitting the block. The basketball from the team’s bonkers Game 4 comeback, which is the largest in NBA Finals history, is one such collectors’ item going under the hammer. The Knicks erased a 29-point deficit to eventually win the game 107-106, with a game-winning tip-in by OG Anunoby sealing the team’s victory, a basket now known as the Hand of OG in a defining moment of the series. Anunoby’s own jersey will also be a part of the sale, as well as game-worn garb from Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart.

Never fear, San Antonio fanatics, there’s something in the auction for you, too. Victor Wembanyama’s game-worn jersey from Game 3, the Spurs’ first win in the series, is also up for grabs. The 7-foot, four-inch Frenchman donned the jersey in the first half of the matchup; in total, he totaled 32 points, six assists, and eight rebounds in the victory.

Sotheby’s NBA Auctions 2026: Part 1 sale opens on June 30, and the online auction will wrap on July 8. That means you have a small window to place your bid in the online auction—and you could very well be in competition for superfans such as Timothée Chalamet or Spike Lee for a memento or two.
