Inside Perez Hilton’s Las Vegas Mansion

Perez Hilton announced last week on his YouTube channel that, “God told me to move to Miami.” So, after just three and a half years living in Las Vegas, the pioneering celebrity gossip blogger and self-described “Queen of All Media” is answering the call. He’s packed up his podcast studio, his three children, and his mother, who lives with the family, and listed his Sin City home for $4.25 million. Kathryn Winterton Las Vegas Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.

Tucked into the small, gated Prado enclave about halfway between the Strip and Summerlin, the roughly 7,000-square-foot contemporary mansion is a collection of cubic volumes painted various shades of gray. It gives off a slight bunker vibe with little visible from the street besides a couple of garage doors set at a 90-degree angle to each other. The front door is tucked around the side of the house in a wide, shallow recess accessed through a rock garden.

The home takes on a much brighter feel on the inside, with open-plan entertaining spaces and expansive walls of glass that flood the interiors with natural light. At the center of the main floor is a chef’s kitchen outfitted with sleek custom cabinetry and expansive workspace, flowing easily into the living and dining areas. There’s also a spacious family room on the second floor.

In all, there are six bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, including a multigenerational suite with a separate entrance, living area, bedroom, and bath. A separate casita adds another bedroom and bathroom beside a crystalline swimming pool and spa, surrounded by desert plantings, water-wise turf, and multiple sheltered patios.

Since launching his celebrity gossip blog in the mid-2000s, Hilton has built a media brand as an author, podcast host, YouTube personality, and documentary film producer.

As for what he’ll miss about his home in Las Vegas, Hilton pointed to a few spaces that became part of his daily routine. “All three of my favorite spaces in the home have one thing in common, they are very healing for me. The primary bath has the biggest shower that I’ve had the privilege of calling my own, and the closet is large and spacious. I had never had a dedicated office before I lived here and used it quite a bit.”
