Dr. Phil’s Former Beverly Hills Home Is Up for Rent at $65,000/Month

After moving into a massive $30 million Beverly Hills estate resembling the Alamo in 2010, TV personality Phil McGraw, better known as Dr. Phil, and his wife, Robin, sold their Mediterranean villa just a few blocks away the next year for $12 million.

Now, 15 years later, the villa has returned to the market—this time as a luxury rental asking $65,000 per month. Benjamin Illulian of Illulian Real Estate is handling the listing.

Originally built in 2001, the home rests on three-quarters of an acre north of Sunset Boulevard, just minutes from The Beverly Hills Hotel. Gates open to a circular driveway and two garages that can accommodate up to 13 vehicles, with the sprawling stucco and terracotta-roof structure at its center offering six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Roughly 12,000 square feet across two levels is introduced via a soaring rotunda foyer anchored by sweeping wrought-iron staircases. From there, a family room sports a stone fireplace and French doors spilling out to a covered loggia, while a formal dining room with an ornate caisson ceiling connects to a kitchen with top-tier stainless appliances, an eat-in island, and a breakfast nook. Two guest suites are on the main level, while a huge primary suite upstairs features a fireside sitting area, a private balcony, and dual dressing rooms and baths.

Other highlights include a game room, a tiered movie theater, and an office. The amenities continue outdoors, where manicured grounds dotted with rose gardens and palm trees include a sundeck-encased pool, a raised spa, and an alfresco entertaining pavilion. There’s also a detached one-bedroom, one-bath guesthouse with its own living room, dining area, and kitchen.

The McGraws, who still own their other Beverly Hills home, also maintain a 14,700-square-foot estate in Dallas’s Preston Hollow neighborhood that they purchased in 2020 for $13.9 million.
