Shortly after her death in October at age 79, Diane Keaton’s former Beverly Hills home came up for sale asking $25 million. Six months later, with no deal in place, the striking Spanish Colonial Revival in the coveted Flats neighborhood has returned with a significant price adjustment.
Keaton acquired the home in 2007 for $8.1 million and went on to commission frequent collaborator Stephen Shadley to carry out a meticulous renovation that was later featured in Architectural Digest. The current owners—hedge fund manager Seth Wunder and his designer wife, Cailin—are now seeking just under $21 million for the 1920s Ralph C. Flewelling-designed home, which they picked up in 2021 for $16.5 million from film and TV producer Ryan Murphy.

Set behind a sprawling motor court and cactus gardens on a gated half-acre parcel, the white stucco and terracotta-roofed residence offers roughly 8,400 square feet with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Inside, dark wood and glossy terracotta floors are paired with exposed beam ceilings, arched doorways, hand-forged wrought-iron accents, period lighting, and French doors spilling out to a series of alfresco sitting and dining spaces.
A combined foyer and library defined by a groin-vaulted ceiling is wrapped in bookshelves topped with the inscription “The Eye Sees What the Mind Knows,” a detail that dates to Keaton’s ownership. From there, the living room centers on a stone fireplace with a curving brick surround, while the formal dining room opens to an arched colonnade and a central brick courtyard. A fireside family room and a more casual dining area connect to the gourmet kitchen, creating a relaxed gathering space. Elsewhere on the main level are two guest bedrooms, with four additional bedrooms upstairs including a secluded primary retreat that has a fireplace, a pair of balconies, a dressing room, and dual baths.

The picturesque grounds hold a guesthouse, a pool and spa, and a sport court. Per the listing, held by Rayni Williams and Branden Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates, there’s also a gym and a wine cellar, along with a two-car garage.
Keaton, an interior design author and a prolific, design-savvy house renovator and flipper, most recently occupied a Pinterest-inspired abode in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles that is now up for sale at nearly $27 million. She also was the one-time owner of a Lloyd Wright-designed midcentury pad in the Rustic Canyon neighborhood that was recently on the market for $12.8 million.
