It’s taken a few weeks, but we finally know just how much the new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport will cost.

The Detroit giant confirmed pricing for the 2027 ‘Vette lineup, which includes the just-announced final C8 variant. The reveal comes just days before the company will open up the order books for the upcoming model year.

The pricing information was first reported by the Corvette Forum on Monday and later confirmed by Chevy to Car and Driver. And the cost of the sixth Grand Sport was a rather big unknown, since the automaker wasn’t ready to share those details when the vehicle made its debut last month. The model, which will slot in between the entry-level Stingray and high-performance Z06, will start at $88,495. While not a bargain, per se, that’s a pretty good deal for a sports car that comes with a brawny 6.7-liter V-8 that makes 535 hp and 520 ft lbs of torque. Meanwhile, the Grand Sport X, which adds a high-voltage battery and potent electric motor to the powertrain, will start at $112,195. The electrified version, which replaces the E-Ray in next year’s lineup, makes 721 hp and 660 ft lbs of torque. Both models cost $7,000 more as convertibles.

Prices for the pre-existing C8 models have all risen year-over-year, although perhaps not as much as one would expect. The Stingray now starts at $73,495, which is $1,000 more than last year, while the Z06 starts at $121,395, which is an increase of $1,700. The even-higher-performance ZR1 now starts at $197,195, or $9,700 more than last year, while the range-topping ZR1X starts at $227,395, which is $15,200 more than before. The last model, which makes a hybrid-assisted 1,250 hp, is by far the most expensive new Corvette of all time, but still costs just a fraction of the price of its supercar peers.

Excited at the prospect of putting your name down for a 2027 Corvette, Grand Sport or otherwise? Chevrolet dealership will start taking orders for the latest version of the C8 on Thursday, April 16, with the exception of one mode, the Grand Sport X. Anyone who wants to buy the latest electrified ‘Vette will have to wait until this summer to place their order for the sports car.
