It seems almost every superyacht is described as “spacious” these days, but Maiora’s newest model actually fits the bill.
The 36 Exuma, which the Next Yacht Group brand debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show in September, has generous volumes that make it an outlier in the 110-foot category.
Developed by design studio Quartostile, the innovative exterior is the result of careful research aimed at optimizing every available cubic inch within the 300 GT limit. The full-beam bow and superstructure give the yacht a bold and imposing profile while increasing onboard comfort.
Spanning four decks, the newcomer can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The owner’s suite is located on the main deck, while a second primary, a VIP, and two other guest cabins are spread across the lower deck. Conceived by architecture firm Acube Design, the contemporary interiors showcase a warm, neutral palette and high-quality natural materials, including leathers, woods, and marbles.

The open-plan layout ensures a seamless flow between the interior and exterior. The salon is fitted with the Exuma line’s signature retractable “infinity door,” which creates a visual passage from bow to stern and up to 1,300 square feet of open-air space. Similarly, the beach club at the stern is equipped with fold-out wings that increase the amount of waterside real estate. Other highlights include a “nest” on the uppermost deck designed for intimate, alfresco hangouts and a large foredeck area with a lounge and pool. You’ll also find not one but two garages that can collectively accommodate a tender, water toys, and a Jet Ski.
The Exuma can perform, too. Three waterjets connected to 2,000 hp MAN V-12s and a sharp, blade-like bow result in a top speed of 33 knots and cruising speed of 20 knots. Weighing just 180 tons, the vessel is exceptionally light for a 110-footer and has a shallow draft of just under five feet. That makes it a great choice for exploring the shallow waters of the Bahamas, meaning it can live up to its name.

“With the Maiora 36 Exuma, we confirm the ongoing growth and consolidation of the Maiora range, strengthening our vision of yachting as the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and innovation, supported by design and construction excellence recognized worldwide,” Next Yacht Group deputy chairman Giorgio Mattei said in a statement. “The 36 Exuma fully embodies this philosophy, combining outstanding performance with exceptional onboard livability, a perfect balance of design, technology, and Italian style.”
A new 36 Exuma will cost you around $23.5 million.
