Kanye West and Kim Kardashian split up years ago, but their individual real estate moves still make headlines—sometimes concurrently. While Ye has been shedding West Coast properties (sometimes at a tremendous loss), The Kardashians star is quietly creating a fortress of privacy back in SoCal’s celeb-packed Hidden Hills enclave.
The latest on West is that he has sold Bighorn Mountain Ranch, one of his two sprawling properties in Wyoming, for $14 million, and the buyers are the very same family he bought it from back in 2019. The 6,713-acre high-country estate, previously owned by David and Paula Flitner, returns to the family under the stewardship of its next generation, Greg and Pam Flitner. West’s wife, Bianca Censori, notarized the sale on his behalf in Switzerland in late September, according to Cowboy State Daily.
Surrounded by national forest, Bighorn Mountain Ranch dates to 1906 and is a true Western paradise. Think rolling grass-covered hills, deep tree-lined canyons, and game-filled bluffs framing multiple lodges and cabins. Amenities like heated helicopter pads, trout-filled creeks, and prime elk-hunting terrain blur the line between rugged adventure and high-end escapism.

When West acquired the ranch in 2019, his ambitious vision included a combined mega-ranch featuring a “Yeezy Campus,” self-sustaining creative spaces, and affordable “Yecosystem” housing for the homeless. He also used Bighorn as a private retreat during his divorce from Kardashian, calling it his “therapy ranch,” where he worked on his 2021 albumDonda and hosted family and high-profile guests—including Justin Bieber.
The younger Filtners quickly listed two portions of the vast spread: Snowshoe Lodge and Mountain Island popped up at $5.9 million, and Bighorn Mountain Hideout was listed for $5.75 million. West is also looking to shed his other Wyoming compound, Monster Lake Ranch, currently listed with a $12 million price tag. Hayden Outdoors Real Estate represents all three properties.
While there have been reports of unpermitted construction that was halted and the tearing down of some buildings at Monster Lake, Pam Filtner noted in the Cowboy State Daily that the Bighorn Ranch structures have thankfully remained intact. “They may need a little TLC, but they’re all solid.”

Meanwhile, the All’s Fair actress and soon-to-be-attorney has been quietly fortifying her Hidden Hills compound. Just days before turning 45, the SKIMS founder made a clandestine off-market deal valued at $7.1 million for the home next door to her $60 million mansion. The four-bedroom, five-bath property on 1.4 acres features a pool, spa, and private tennis court.
She already owns a neighboring home—scooped up in 2022 for $6.3 million—and whether she folds her new purchase into her six-plus-acre spread or repurposes it remains a mystery, but one thing is clear—she’s creating a sizable buffer of security and privacy around her already sprawling estate. The acquisition coincides with a major renovation of her primary residence, an overhaul that reportedly doubled its size and incorporated below-ground additions like a wellness center and guardhouse.
Different landscapes, different ambitions—but the real estate game is still very much a Kardashian-West affair.
