Cody Ko picked up Reese Witherspoon’s former Malibu vacation home in the foothills just above Malibu’s Zuma Beach in early 2023. Now the YouTuber/podcaster has decided to return the two-acre spread to the market for a speck under $9.3 million, with Sandro Dazzan and Billy Rose of The Agency holding the listing.
Records show Ko and his fellow influencer wife, Kelsey Kreppel, acquired the property for $7.7 million from Meg Haney, the daughter of Chattanooga real estate billionaire Franklin Haney and the younger sister of a noted fashion designer who was Witherspoon’s onetime stylist. Haney paid the Oscar-winning Walk the Line actress and her ex-husband, Jim Toth, $6.7 million for the place in 2020.
The wood-beamed living room has a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and picture windows.

Built in 1950 and extensively modernized and renovated by Haney, who operated the property as a wedding venue, the gated estate known as Cranberry Ranch has a three-bedroom home, along with a repurposed barn, a gym, and a podcast studio. There’s also a permanent Airstream trailer that sleeps four—it has its own kitchen and bath—plus a four-car garage.
Standing out inside the single-level primary dwelling, which is outfitted with high-tech Control4, Lutron, and Sonos systems, is a fireside living room sporting a wood-beam ceiling and large picture windows. A dining area flows to a galley kitchen sporting rainbow onyx countertops, an apron-front sink, and a Wolf range, while a primary suite has access to the outdoors and a bath with a clawfoot soaking tub beneath a stained-glass window.
Wellness options include a detached gym, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub.

The sprawling grounds, dotted with mature sycamore trees, contain horse stalls and a corral, a bocce court, a vine-covered pavilion, and a chicken coop. But the star of the show is the entertainment barn, a multi-functional structure boasting a covered porch, a full kitchen and a seated bar, billiard and lounge zones, and a soaring en suite guest bedroom.
Canada-born Ko still also owns an oceanfront getaway in Malibu that is currently listed for $3.75 million, down from its original asking price of nearly $4 million. In 2023, he sold an architectural compound in Venice’s Silver Triangle for the exact asking price of $4.3 million.
