You can always count on Boot Düsseldorf for a few exciting debuts. The world’s largest indoor boat and watersports show, taking place in Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, from January 17 to 25, will include numerous world and German premieres from the likes of Azimut, Sirena, and Sunseeker. It’s not just yachts, either: Industry newcomer Besnati will unveil a new line of high-performance tenders at the event.

The Italian brand was only very recently founded by entrepreneur Davide Besnati. A passionate sailor and longtime boat owner, Besnati saw a gap in the market for an Italian take on high-powered runabouts that prioritized both form and function. The resulting tenders were designed to be aesthetically akin to a stylish superyacht, or their mothership, yet offer the speed and thrills that only small boats can. 

The first model, known as the Hurlo 325, was penned by Valerio Rivellini. The Naples-based designer, who was identified as one to watch in Robb Report’s 2021 Best of the Best issue, has created tenders like the 33-foot Iceman for Cantiere delle Marche and worked with brands including Evo Yachts, Cantiere Mimì, Italmarine, and now, Besnati. 

Measuring just over 10 feet, the Hurlo 325 showcases the Rivellini’s signature sleek, sporty lines. He took inspiration from the automotive world for the design. The steering wheel, for instance, resembles that of a Formula 1 car, with all the controls concentrated in one place to ensure quick, easy, and intuitive handling. It sits alongside the latest technical equipment, including a dual Garmin display and an immersive audio system.

Go-karts and Jet Skis served as muses on the cruising front, resulting in a driver-focused ergonomic setup that allows seafarers to travel at speed in comfort. Speaking of which, the tender is powered by a 170 hp Rotax hydrojet engine that allows for a top speed of over 50 knots. 

The model is available in three distinct configurations: Classic pairs a silver livery with beige cushions, Sport combines a black and gray colorway with Alcantara upholstery, and Fish offers features and accessories for anglers. Besnati offers extensive customization options, too, meaning you can really put your stamp on this race car for the seas.
