It’s time to hit the slopes, and what better way to do it than from your prime perch in Italy‘s dramatic Dolomites, where a chic mountain lodge in the hills of Madonna di Campiglio could be your home base this winter and for many ski seasons to come.

The semi-detached chalet sits in an exclusive complex of just six units with head-on views of 3Tre mountain slope, which has hosted races in the Alpine Ski World Cup since 1950. Close to both lifts and the central hub of Piazza Righi, it’s a vacation retreat that can be used year-round.

The walls and ceilings throughout are faced in rustic wood planks reclaimed from ancient mountain farmhouses, softening the modern, angular architecture and giving the just five-year-old home a cozy sense of permanence.
