Aero Just Unveiled a New Semi-Private Flight From L.A. to the Hamptons

West Coasters, it’s time to punch your ticket to the Hamptons.

Private jet airline Aero just debuted a new route that takes travelers from Los Angeles to the luxurious summertime mecca on the East Coast. The first-of-its-kind journey is meant to make the trek from coast to coast much easier, Travel + Leisure reported.

As part of the new experience, you’ll hop aboard Aero’s Gulfstream IV-SP jet, which can carry 12 passengers and has a 4,833 nautical mile range, at Los Angeles’s Van Nuys Airport in the airline’s own terminal. The aircraft has plenty of amenities for you to enjoy on your way to the Empire State, including Starlink Wi-Fi, a top-shelf open bar with Veuve Clicquot up for grabs, and seasonal dining options from popular spots like Erewhon, Sadelle’s, and more. (And feel free to bring any of your pets on the journey, too.)

Once you touch down at the private terminal in the Big Apple, you’ll then transfer over to a Blade turboprop aircraft that’ll take you to the East Hampton Airport. The move will help you avoid any of those pesky summertime traffic jams on the way out East.

“Some trips look easy on a map and feel impossible in practice. Even New York to the Hamptons can take half a Friday in typical summer traffic. Add a coast-to-coast leg, and the weekend is over before it begins,” Aero CEO Ben Klein said in a statement. “This is exactly what Aero is for: routes our guests want to fly, built to ensure the journey is as easy as it is luxurious.”

Your journey to the Hamptons will begin at 8:30 am, with a final arrival in East Hampton at 5:50 pm. Reservations for the new route are now open, with flights priced from $7,730 on Aero’s website.

Aero is no stranger to making treks to popular destinations easier. The private airline has been offering up direct first-class flights to hot spots around the globe, connecting destinations such as Ibiza, London, Mykonos, and Nice. In 2024, Aero expanded that roster to include a semi-private flight from Los Angeles and Napa.
