Jonah Hill decamped his native Los Angeles for a “very small town in San Diego” three years ago so he and his wife, online clothing retailer Olivia Millar, could raise their two children away from the Hollywood spotlight. In the process, the actor and comedian, who is currently promoting his new Apple TV+ movie Outcome, left behind two houses in the prestigious guard-gated Malibu Colony enclave between Pacific Coast Highway and the Pacific Ocean, near Nobu restaurant and the Malibu Pier.

The Oscar-nominated Moneyball and The Wolf of Wall Street star only recently sold one of those properties on a desirable strip of sand facing the ocean last year for $14.5 million. Before that, he sold another house on the land side of the coastal neighborhood to cannabis investor Hartley Wasko in 2022 for $11.1 million, which is $2.1 million more than Hill paid Richard and Laurie Stark, cofounders of the rock-and-roll fashion brand Chrome Hearts, for the place in 2021.

The landside residence, the deed of which Wasko signed over to a private lender in Boca Raton, Florida, in late 2025 in lieu of foreclosure, per property records, has now returned to the market for $13.25 million. The listing is represented by Dustin Nicholas of Nicholas Property Group.

Tucked away behind a gated courtyard, the three-story structure was built in 1980. Hill extensively customized the spread during his tenure, most notably painting the boxy structure’s formerly all-white exterior a deep shade of charcoal gray. It has since been redone in white with black-framed windows and updated inside. It offers four bedrooms and an equal number of baths in roughly 3,700 square feet.

Standing out is a soaring living room with a two-tone, floor-to-ceiling fireplace and French doors opening to a mostly decked and hedge-lined backyard hosting an outdoor kitchen with a professional grill, an alfresco dining area, and a lagoon-style pool and spa framed by palm trees. An adjacent dining area topped with a spoked chandelier abuts a wood-clad kitchen outfitted with a stainless steel apron-front sink and top-tier appliances.

A mezzanine level holds a primary suite with a fireside sitting area showcasing ebony-hued slatted walls and built-in cabinetry, as well as a balcony and a luxe bathroom equipped with dual vanities, a custom oversized shower, a soaking tub, and a dry sauna. Topping it all off is an expansive third-level roof deck with plenty of room for lounging while taking in peekaboo ocean views, plus deeded key access to a private beach.

The actor, who first rose to fame 20 years ago with roles in Knocked Up, Superbad, and Forgetting Sarah Marshal, and is set to appear opposite Kristen Wiig in the comedy movie Cut Off, also sold a posh Manhattan loft in 2022 for just under $10.6 million; it’s currently up for sale again at $12.4 million.
