Rising 620 feet above Midtown, Olympic Tower has long attracted a mix of diplomats, celebrities, and power brokers, including Imelda Marcos, the shoe-loving former first lady of the Philippines. Anne Hathaway reportedly rented a residence there in the mid-Aughts for around $37,000 per month. and members of the Gucci family sold their duplex in the building in 2024 for $35 million.
Now, Keiko Aoki—widow of Benihana founder Rocky Aoki—is parting ways with her bi-level residence spanning the Fifth Avenue skyscraper’s 33rd and 34th floors. Notably, there’s no teppanyaki grill in sight.

The massive primary suite includes a sitting room with views of the Empire State Building.

Aoki’s residence spans approximately 4,500 square feet, with most of the entertaining spaces located on the upper level and the primary suite anchoring the floor below. Full-height windows frame views of New York landmarks, including the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Center, while coffered ceilings soar above the open-plan living and dining areas. The dining room is outfitted with a wet bar, designed for mixing evening cocktails, and the sleek kitchen offers generous counter space alongside a more casual family room with a relaxed dining nook. Ample closet storage keeps linens and everyday essentials neatly out of sight.
On the lower level, the massive primary suite includes a bedroom with an adjoining sitting area. The bathroom is a delightful optical illusion, wrapped in a striking blue pattern with mirrored cabinetry and a reflective ceiling that amplifies the sense of space. At the end of the day, there’s a jacuzzi tub and a sauna for unwinding. The residence also includes two additional bedrooms—one finished in pistachio green—along with an additional full bathroom and a powder room.

The maximalist primary bathroom is covered in mirrored cabinetry.

On the market for a hair under $12 million with Frances Katzen at Douglas Elliman, the home also includes a dedicated laundry room and a fully integrated audio system. Soundproof windows help keep the city’s hustle and bustle at bay, allowing for uninterrupted listening and quiet living high above Midtown. Residents of Olympic Tower also benefit from a suite of building amenities, including a 24-hour doorman, valet service, and a fitness center.
