NBA veteran Jeff Green has scored an off-court win, selling his custom-built Miami estate for $15.5 million. While not a record-breaker, the deal still ranks among the priciest residential sales in Pinecrest, where a $19.5 million mansion sale last year set the current high-water mark.
The Houston Rockets forward and his wife, Stephanie, are making a clean fast break from South Florida, parting ways with their seven-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath home. The property had been listed for $16.4 million. The buyer, represented by Dennis Carvajal of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, remains undisclosed, while Toni Schrager of Brown Harris Stevens represented the seller.
Situated on a quiet, oak-lined street in North Pinecrest, the two-story residence spans roughly 10,400 square feet on just over an acre. Green purchased the non-waterfront lot for $1.4 million in 2017 and later transferred it into his and his wife’s names before building the home from the ground up. Completed in 2022, the pad has a clean, contemporary look defined by natural stone and wood floors, soaring vaulted ceilings, and custom millwork throughout.

The layout is spacious with abundant natural light pouring in through oversized windows. There are formal living and dining rooms alongside more relaxed family spaces, plus an eat-in kitchen outfitted with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. A home theater, gym, and dedicated game and play rooms round out the interiors, along with two laundry rooms and a four-car garage. The entire property is wired as a smart home with a Savant-Sonos–powered system handling security and automation.
Outside, the setting shifts into full resort mode. A screened summer kitchen anchors the entertaining areas, complemented by a large pool, lush landscaping, and a playground set across the expansive lawn. A full-house generator adds a layer of practicality, while a lighted basketball court delivers a subtle nod to Green’s day job.

The listing picked up an unexpected dose of Hollywood intrigue earlier this year. Cameron Diaz and her husband, Benji Madden, were reported to have toured the home while scouting properties across Miami and Miami Beach. The idea of Diaz house-hunting in Pinecrest—a quieter alternative to the waterfront—raised eyebrows, though the couple ultimately didn’t take the shot. At least that we know of.
Green, who has played for 11 NBA teams over an 18-season career, won an NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets in 2023. He’s far from the only pro drawn to the area. David Ortiz listed his Pinecrest home for $11.5 million last year, while athletes from Jimmy Butler to Lamar Odom have put down roots in the neighborhood. Miami Heat star Tyler Herro paid $10.5 million for a 9,500-square-foot mansion there in 2022, and MLB pitcher Luis Severino followed last summer with a $10.7 million purchase of a one-acre estate under construction.
