This $6.8 Million L.A. Home Has Ties to the Late, Great Chuck Norris

Hollywood icon Chuck Norris died just days ago, leaving behind a six-decade career and legions of fans across the globe. But his ultra-manly persona lives on in his films from The Delta Force to Missing in Action and the long-running TV series Walker, Texas Ranger, plus a wealth of viral internet memes: “The flu gets a Chuck Norris shot every year” and “Chuck Norris plays Jenga with Stonehenge,” just to name a couple.

The martial arts champ-turned-actor was also the one-time owner of a four-acre estate in the San Fernando Valley community of Tarzana, part of which transferred to That ’70s Show and NCIS actor Wilmer Valderrama in 2005 for $3.5 million. However, an adjacent 1.6-acre flag lot Norris had acquired as a privacy buffer was later sold off and developed into a modern farmhouse-style home, which was bought by a trust linked to retired pro defensive tackle Malik Jackson in 2021 for nearly $7.2 million.

After first being offered for sale in 2024 for nearly $9 million and undergoing some price reductions, the latter place has now returned to the market for just under $6.8 million. Ikem Chukumerije of The IKEM Company holds the listing.

Built in 2020 and set beyond an automated gate and 400-foot driveway, the white wood-sided, metal-roofed structure offers five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and a powder room in roughly 8,100 square feet. A sprawling turf-trimmed motor court is tucked off to the side of the two-story residence, which showcases wide-plank hardwood floors, stacked-stone accent walls, and security and automation systems throughout. Large expanses of glass open seamlessly to the outdoors, capitalizing on that California weather.

A covered porch and pivoting black glass door open into a double-height entry foyer flanked by formal living and dining areas. A fireside family room with an aquarium and custom shelving extends to a covered terrace, while the adjacent kitchen features an expansive book-matched marble island with seating for four, Miele and Wolf appliances, butler and walk-in pantries, and a breakfast nook.

A floating staircase leads to an upstairs primary retreat with a fireplace, two closets, and a luxe bath with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a steam shower. A massive balcony off the primary overlooks the landscaped grounds, which host a grotto pool with a spa, Baja shelf, waterfalls, and a water slide, plus a full-sized sports court next to a viewing gazebo with a wine cellar below. There’s also a movie theater, a gym, and a guesthouse atop a detached three-car garage.

Born in Oklahoma in 1940, Norris served in the U.S. Air Force before rising to fame as a martial arts star and later securing his big-screen break alongside Bruce Lee in 1972’s The Way Of The Dragon. He died at his vacation home on the North Shore of Kauai in Hawaii on March 19 at age 86 after experiencing a medical emergency, though his longtime primary residence was the 1,000-acre Lone Wolf Ranch near the Texas town of Navasota.
