Shortly after purchasing DJ Zedd’s rockstar-worthy mansion in Encino for just over $17 million in 2024, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor listed another San Fernando Valley home for nearly $12 million. However, after almost two years on the market and no takers, the revamped residence has popped up for sale again, but this time with a hugely reduced asking price.
The “All About That Bass” singer is now seeking a dash under $7 million for the glitzy property, which she and her husband, Spy Kids actor Daryl Sabara, acquired from rapper TMG Fresh for $6.6 million in late 2020. The listing is held by Justin Paul Huchel of Carolwood Estates.

Built in the late 1990s but fully renovated during her tenure, the multilevel white stucco structure is sequestered behind tall gates and hedges and offers six bedrooms and eight bathrooms in roughly 14,100 square feet. There’s also a detached two-story guesthouse sporting a gym on the bottom floor and a bedroom, bath, living room, and kitchen up top, plus an expansive motor court and a carport that can accommodate up to 10 vehicles.
The main home’s entry foyer boasting a double staircase flows to a pair of formal living rooms. A cozy family room connects to the wood-ceilinged kitchen, which is outfitted with a duo of islands, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a wine fridge, and a dining area with sliding glass doors spilling out to the backyard.
Elsewhere on the main level is an office space and a guest bedroom with a bath. Five additional en suite bedrooms upstairs include a sumptuous primary retreat that has custom glass doors opening to a separate fireside sitting area with access to a balcony, as well as two walk-in closets and a roomy bath hosting a soaking tub encased in white marble and a shower lined in bookmatched black marble.

A lower-level recording studio has a kitchenette, a bath, and its own entrance, while a top-floor loft is currently outfitted as a playroom. The amenities continue outdoors, where the lush grounds span just over an acre and hold a lagoon-style pool with a spa, Baja shelf, waterfall, and water slide, along with a fire pit, a covered alfresco dining area next to a barbecue and bar, a tennis court, a mini-putting green, and a children’s playground.
Trainor and Sabara also own a recently built contemporary home in Encino that they picked up in 2023 for $3.1 million.
