Silverstone Unveils an Ultra-Luxe Trackside Lounge for the British GP

Silverstone has moved up a gear in the luxury sphere.

The British race track is rolling out a new high-end lounge that will allow motorsports enthusiasts to watch races in the lap of luxury. Described as Silverstone’s “most exclusive hospitality area yet,” the Vale is located steps away from the Formula 1 paddock, providing a select few with unparalleled views of the pit entry and final dramatic race corners in a members’ club-like setting.

“We’ve deliberately positioned it at the most charged point of the circuit, not removed from the action, but embedded within it,” Silverstone CCO Nick Read said in a statement. “It represents a step-change in our premium offering and raises the ceiling of hospitality around the world.”

Launching with the upcoming British Grand Prix in July, the Vale combines the thrills of racing with the finer things in life. The interior combines motorsport heritage with British architecture, with clean lines and upscale contemporary decor. The flowing layout seamlessly connects the dining spaces and private suites inside to an expansive tiered terrace that sits mere feet from the pit lane. The multiple trackside vantage points allow guests to see the entire circuit, but crucially, the final stretch, where all the drama unfolds.

Proximity to the track isn’t the only thing the Vale offers, of course. Guests will enjoy dedicated VIP access at the British Grand Prix and can choose to arrive at the race by chauffeur or helicopter. Across the three days, they will be able to refuel with Michelin-level dishes, sommelier-curated wine, and mixologist-designed drinks. Service will reportedly be “intuitive and unobtrusive.” There will also be a DJ serving beats the entire weekend and an invitation-only afterparty on Saturday and Sunday. The party doesn’t have to end there, either. The Vale can be combined with a stay at Silverstone’s swish Escapade hotel or in a luxury yurt on the inner track.

“For guests who understand the value of access and atmosphere in equal measure, The Vale isn’t just about watching the race,” Read adds. “It’s about being exactly where the weekend unfolds.”

Access to the Vale is strictly limited to preserve quality, privacy, and intimacy, according to Silverstone. Only those who join the waitlist will be invited, with the price on application.
