LAX, your newest luxury lounge has arrived.

Korean Air has officially opened its high-end lounge today, which is nestled inside the Tom Bradley International Terminal (a.k.a. Terminal B) at the Los Angeles’s airport. The new locale is the South Korea-based airliner’s largest overseas lounge, focused on bringing the company’s top customers a plush place to unwind before they hit the skies.

Spanning just over 18,000 square feet, the new lounge splits its two floors into a pair of distinct areas. The First Class Lounge can be found on the upper level, and there you can find two private suites and an à la carte fine-dining menu on offer (and a full-service bar, too, for your pre-flight tipple). On the lower floor, you’ll find the Miler Club and the Prestige Class Lounge, which is where business fliers will be perched. Both spots have chefs that prepare fresh cuisine at their open-kitchen areas, and in terms of drinks, you can enjoy a Southern California craft beer or a coffee blend made right in L.A. Plus, there’s a balcony overlooking the Terminal B interior for you to watch the hustle and bustle of the airport.

In terms of design, the lounge offers up modern details with a nod to Korean heritage. Throughout each space, which were all brought to life by Singapore-based firm LTW Design, you’ll find floor-to-ceiling windows to bring light straight in, as well as warm wood, plush seating, and stone accents abound. There’s also plenty of artwork that pay homage to the airliner’s roots, such as Buncheong ceramics (a traditional Korean stoneware crafted in free-flowing silhouettes with intricate designs dotting their surface) and moon jars, known as Dalhangari, with their minimalist, round design and luminous white glaze—reminiscent of our own moon, hence the name. Those pieces are pair alongside brushstroke paintings, too, all with the goal of showing off a “modern Korean luxury,” according to the airliner.

There’s more on the horizon for Korean Air, too. The airliner is set to unveil its next luxe lounge at New York’s JFK airport later this year. That new space can join JetBlue’s recently opened BlueHouse, the brand’s first airport lounge that’s also hoping to woo top fliers.
