Lazzara’s New LMY 165 Superyacht Comes With 2 Pools

Lazzara’s next generation is here.

The Florida-based company has just unveiled its new LMY 165, an aptly named 165-foot superyacht that been built in steel and aluminum for peak performance on the seas—one that Lazzara hopes will make a big splash and show off the brand’s evolution when it finally hits the water.

And the showing off starts with the superyacht’s smooth, elongated profile, giving the vessel a more sculptural look with decorative glass acting as an main accent. That design continues across its three decks, stretching all the way to the beach club, which is home to fold-out wings for even more lounging space onboard. The large beach club is also home to an integrated rectangular swimming pool surrounding by plush sofas and sun pads, turning it into a key gathering space on the 165-footer. Heading aft, you’ll find a spacious outdoor dining area and, on the upper deck, a circular Jacuzzi; plus, yet another sunpad is perched right on the bow.

Inside, meanwhile, LMY 165 offers up six staterooms for up to 12 guests, including a full-beam owner’s suite that offers up plenty of privacy. There’s also space for nine crew aboard across five cabins. Other details on the interiors are scarce (for now), but Lazzara says the focus onboard is not about extravagance, but design continuity throughout each and every space on the new vessel—and having enough space to truly wind, too.

In terms of grunt, Lazzara has equipped its new vessel with a pair of MAN / Caterpillar 1,400 hp engines. All that power allows the superyacht to hit a top speed of 15 knots, or cruise at a cool 12 knots. The LMY is also home to a patented sea chest system, which moves all seawater intake and discharge systems into one singular component, which results in simplified service and improved hydrodynamic performance, according to the brand.

Lazzara has plenty of other stunners in its arsenal, too. Its Limited Edition LSX 67, for one, comes with a one-of-a-kind owner’s cabin with a private terrace. There’s also plenty of U-shaped sofas and sunpads dotted across its decks, too, so guests can relax in luxury—just like on the larger LMY 165.
