Shaun White and his now ex-fiancée, The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev, jointly purchased an updated midcentury home high in the hills above Hollywood back in 2023. Soon after, the retired professional snowboarder and three-time Olympic gold medalist offloaded a smaller but no less stylish glass-walled midcentury elsewhere in the Hollywood Hills for nearly $4 million.
Fast-forward, and the former abode was put up for rent at around $35,000 per month last September amid the couple’s split, while the latter place has now resurfaced for sale at a speck under $5 million. Chase Rodgers of The Beverly Hills Estates holds the listing.

White, who scooped up the place in 2018 for $3.8 million, sold the circa 1955 property to onetime Louis Vuitton executive Michael Silvaggi, who gave the post-and-beam pad a ground-up overhaul in collaboration with Studio Veren. In addition to a new roof, windows, and brick exterior, three bedrooms and two bathrooms are filtered across roughly 2,000 square feet of moody, single-level interiors boasting dark slate floors, walnut cabinetry, vintage lighting, and custom furnishings.
Hidden away on a little-known cul-de-sac in the Outpost Estates neighborhood, the property spans a third of an acre and is fronted by a detached two car garage with a Tesla charger and a petite driveway with parking for three additional vehicles. A privacy wall screens the house from the street, while a gated walkway passes by dense foliage on its way to the front door.

A flagstone terrace surrounds the backyard’s classic kidney-shaped pool.

Upon entry, an open-concept great room contains a bar-equipped dining area, a kitchen with a leather-clad island and Miele appliances, and a living room sporting walls of glass framing canyon and city skyline views. A slender hallway leads to the primary bedroom, which has sliding doors spilling out to a private backyard hosting a kidney-shaped pool surrounded by a flagstone terrace, plus a fire pit lounge area alongside a dining banquette.
Coincidentally, the property sits right next door to a much larger contemporary mansion that White also previously owned. After buying that spread in 2015 for $6.4 million, he flipped the place two years later for $6.7 million to Shark Tank judge Robert Herjavec, who eventually sold it at a loss.
