A $30 Million Penthouse Hits the Market in Naples, Florida

While Miami may be better known for its ultra-luxury waterfront condo towers, this opulent aerie in Naples offers the same sort of premium amenities and uninterrupted horizon views, but out over the smooth waters of the Gulf of Mexico rather than the Atlantic Ocean.

The full-floor penthouse spans a whopping 12,000 square feet atop the Regent, a deluxe apartment house that some consider the most prestigious along the Paradise Coast. Carrying a price tag of $29.9 million, the unit is the most expensive finished condo ever offered in the building. The owners splashed out even more money than the asking price to transform the sprawling residence into a colorful, beachside home with the help of designer Suzanne Lovell. Thomas Campbell and Richard Prebish at William Raveis Real Estate hold the listing.

After being whisked up to the penthouse via a private elevator, you’re deposited into a grand black-and-gray entryway. That moodiness is echoed in other parts of the home, but it largely gives way to bright, airy spaces. The great room, for example, is decked out in light woods and surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on the Gulf of Mexico. Here, there’s a chic bar in the corner and access to the formal dining room.

Throughout, more casual entertaining spaces abound: the fireplace-warmed family room is accompanied by a media room that’s hidden behind sliding wooden doors. A massive couch runs the length of one wall in the “cabana room,” where there’s yet another bar for mixing up cocktails. If you’re more of a wine person, there’s also a tucked-away wine cellar where you can store and enjoy your favorite bottles. Two offices are available for when you need some quiet working space.

The sleeping quarters contain four bedroom suites. A couple are done up in neutral color palettes, while one is swathed in a rosy hue and another sports a palm-print wallpaper accent wall behind the bed. The serene bathrooms are all white marble and light wood, with soaking tubs and rainfall showers. Numerous covered terraces and loggias complete the pad, one with a built-in grill.

Naples has become a hotbed of luxury real estate in the Sunshine State. Sitting on Florida’s southwest coast, the coastal town is home to some of the country’s most expensive properties. Late last year, for example, a six-bedroom spread with more than 360 feet of water frontage hit the market for $60 million. And back in 2024, Naples was the site of the most expensive home for sale in the United States.
