Baglietto’s New 155-Foot Superyacht Has Not One but Two Infinity Pools

You spoke, Baglietto listened.

The Italian yard has expanded the popular Dom line, adding a 155-foot model to meet a growing demand for large displacement yachts under 500 GT.

“The Dom 155 is the result of listening carefully to our clients and, more broadly, to the market, which has enthusiastically welcomed both the 35 and 41 metre models, but has repeatedly expressed interest in larger dimensions,” Baglietto chief commercial officer Fabio Ermetto said in a statement.

Named after domus, the ancient Latin for “home,” the Dom series is all about living comfortably at sea. The new Dom 155 will be the biggest in the line, comfortably eclipsing the existing 115-foot and 133-foot models. As with the 133, the 155 features a lightweight aluminum exterior that reduces draft and increases efficiency. It also offers generous volumes, a strong connection between interior and exterior decks, and high levels of customization. All of that will make the newcomer particularly attractive to North American seafarers, according to Baglietto.

Designed by Stefano Vafiadis, the exterior showcases the sleek lines and longitudinal cuts that are synonymous with Doms. The focal point is the aft deck, which is outfitted with a central infinity pool and a multifunctional beach club that can be configured as a wellness area with a spa and gym or turned into an additional garage for large tenders. A few steps away lies a swim platform with a transformer that provides access to the water or a dock.

The main deck is designed for indoor-outdoor living, with fully opening doors that create a flow between the exterior and interior lounges. Elsewhere on the main deck is a dining area for 10, a galley with an adjoining pantry, and a full-beam owner’s suite with all the requisite luxuries. Think: a cabin with a huge California king-size bed, an office, and dual bathrooms with a walk-through shower.

Heading down to the lower deck, four guest cabins with en suites can accommodate family and friends. Above, the upper deck is home to a crew quarters with four en suite cabins and a salon that opens to the outdoors on three sides. (You can also add a guest cabin to the upper deck if desired.) Outside lies an al fresco dining area and a relaxation space.

Moving forward, the foredeck can facilitate rest or recreation with a plush private lounge and a garage for a tender and a Jet Ski. To top it off, quite literally, the sundeck of nearly 1,400 square feet offers sunbathing areas, a conversation zone, and a second infinity pool with integrated bar.

As for power, the new flagship is equipped with two CAT C32 engines that enable a maximum speed of 16 knots.

The first hull is expected to be delivered in early 2029.
