The IASHP World Wide Staging Event was the first weekend in November for Christine Kent. She was the victim of a violent crime and is now permanently paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
Christine Kent hugs a friend during the sentencing of a man who paralyzed her.
Two years after being shot in the spine, run over by a SUV, and left for dead, Christine Kent finally has some closure.
Her attacker, Allan Sinclair IV, was sentenced to life in prison for conspiring to rape, kidnap and kill her.
Our South Florida Home Staging Chapter kicked off the event at Painting with a Twist. Painting for a purpose was our fundraising goal. The IASHP Chapter raised over $4000 dollars to makeover Christine’s home. It was so much fun!
We had a chance to make a difference and have fun also! The International Home Staging Association is a wonderful South Florida chapter of home stagers that thrives on community service. See Christine Kent’s home makeover before & after photos.
It was an honor to makeover her home. It was a team effort from the beginning until the end. All the volunteers efforts and furniture donations helped a successful makeover.
Special thanks to HomeStyle Decorators & PDQ for providing lunch and Cheri Kaplan & Andi Hurley for bringing everyone together. Christine was so happy she cried tears of gratitude and so did we.
In between it all the team was able to sneak a surprise birthday cake in for Andi.
