Grech RV is trying to make luxury #vanlife a little comfortable—no matter where you’ve set up camp.

The Southern California-based company now offers a fully integrated off-the-grid energy system standard across its entire 2026 model year lineup of camper vans. Dubbed Grech Power, the system uses the latest lithium-ion battery and energy management tech to provide enough juice for more than half a day of operation away from shore power.

Grech Motors has been around for more than four decades now, during which time it’s gone from building stretch limousines to high-end luxury shuttle buses and people movers. In 2020, the company launched Grech RV, a spin-off that sought to bring its know-how and skill to the Class B motorhome, or camper van, space. It would deliver its first Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based camper van in December of that year.

Grech, like so many companies in operation during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic, ran into its fair share of supply chain issues early on, its vice president, A.J. Thurber, recently told Robb Report. This included difficulty sourcing generators for its earliest models. The company’s solution was to develop a proprietary alternative of its own, out of which was born Grech Power.

At the heart of the company’s energy system is a Lithionics Battery-sourced 51-volt lithium-ion battery module, which, the executive says, is among the most advanced used in the RV industry. The pack’s 165-Ah capacity means that Grech van owners can expect to get up to 14 hours of off-the-grid power from the system, even if it’s during the height of summer and the air conditioning is running the whole time.

All that power frees up where the company’s customers can park and set up camp. “They’ll go to wineries and breweries and farms and things like that—nontraditional campgrounds—because you don’t need to plug into shore power,” Thurber said.

And when power is running low, all it takes is a manageable drive to recharge everything thanks to the system’s Bluetooth-enabled, ARCO Zeus auxiliary alternator. Thurber says a three-hour drive is all it takes to return the battery to full capacity. Other features of the system include a Victron smart inverter, roof-mounted solar panels, and a Garmin house control system, which can be accessed via that company’s mobile app.

And don’t worry about running into trouble out on the road. The company’s vans now come standard with Grech Connect, a Wi-Fi-connected system that allows for remote troubleshooting from the company’s headquarters.

The Grech Power and Connect can be found in all three of the company’s 2026 models—the Turismo, the Terreno, and the Strada. Each van is based on the ubiquitous—in the premium camper van space, at least—Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Grech has used the German chassis since it started selling Class-B vans, a choice that’s only gotten easier with the introduction of a new all-wheel-drive system (the company sells rear-wheel-drive vans but is phasing them out due to demand). The Sprinter is the perfect van for a company focused solely on luxury touring vehicles.

 “We’re looking for the highest end, highest quality interior you could possibly get in a camper van,” Thurber told Robb Report.

Grech Power and a Sprinter chassis isn’t all that the trio of models has in common. The vans also share the same luxury amenities, including a fully loaded kitchenette, a bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a power sofa that can be converted into a bed. What differentiates the vehicles is their length. The Turismo measures 19 feet bumper to bumper, the Terreno measures 22 feet, and the Strada measures 24 feet.

“They all have the same creature comforts,” he said. “You’re not getting less technology from one unit to another.”

Grech RV’s 2026 camper vans are available to purchase now through the company’s network of dealers and its website. Pricing for the Turismo starts at $244,900, the Terreno at $277,900, and the Strada at $279,900.
