Boasting a bold, sophisticated new exterior design and a reimagined interior bristling with some of the most advanced, driver-focused technologies, this A6 simply redefines the premium midsize, business-class sedan segment.

The all-new body design is sleek, streamlined, and progressive, with an even greater focus on aerodynamic efficiency. You see it in the flowing arc of its roofline; the long, contoured hood; and muscular haunches covering bold, new wheel designs.  
 
Up front, there’s a refreshed take on the iconic Singleframe grille, with new Matrix-design LED lighting and those four Audi rings now positioned higher and more prominent. And bold new “air curtain” openings in the bumper for improved airflow. 
 
There’s equal visual drama at the rear. New LED taillights along with a continuous, horizontal LED light strip emphasize the car’s width and vertical LED brake lights provide a unique light signature.  
 
Refined performance has long been a hallmark of the A6. For this new generation, the proven 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 has been uprated to 362 hp, which is 27 more than before. Torque is increased by 37 lb-ft to a muscular 406 lb-ft. Coupled to an Audi S tronic seven-speed dual clutch transmission, this all-new A6 can now rush from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 4.8 seconds, with a top speed of 201 km/h.  

Precise, responsive driving control comes standard with every A6. Legendary quattro all-wheel drive is there to provide confidence, handling agility, all-weather traction, poise, and, yes, balance.  
 
It’s enhanced by available all-wheel steering. At low speeds the system turns the rear wheels slightly in the opposite direction of the fronts, tightening the turning radius and improving maneuverability. At higher speeds, the rear wheels steer in the same direction, increasing agility and precision.  
 
The revised suspension systems provide the perfect balance of sportiness and comfort, with three unique setups available with the A6.  
 
The standard design has been enhanced to provide even more comfort than before. The Sport suspension that’s included in the Sport Plus package lowers the ride height of the A6 by 20 millimetres to reduce drag and deliver a more dynamic driving feel.

An available Adaptive air suspension with electronically controlled adaptive damping, continuously adjusts damping and ride height for tailored driving dynamics. It also automatically balances out the vehicle load, making sure the car always stays level. It also features a lift function that can raise the car by 20 millimetres when driving conditions become more challenging, such as on snow-covered or uneven roads.  
 
For the first time in the A6 sedan, the adaptive air suspension can be operated by voice control, with simple commands like “raise the vehicle” or “lower the suspension” with the aim of reducing complexity and driver distraction. 
 
An extensive suite of intelligent, advanced driver-assistance technology comes standard with every A6—from adaptive cruise assist, to rear cross-traffic assist, to a top-view camera and road intersection assist. 
 
If silence is golden, think of this A6 as the gold standard. Sound insulation has improved by up to 30 percent compared to the previous generation. Acoustic glass is used for the windscreen and front side windows, and is also available for the rear side windows. Redesigned engine and transmission mounts quell vibration. 
 
It all makes for a calm, tranquil cabin that defines modern luxury.  

There’s a new feeling of spaciousness too, in part from the advanced, switchable panoramic glass roof. It provides light on your terms, courtesy of six liquid-crystal panels that, at the touch of a button, can provide progressive shade or light.  
 
Taking center stage in the cockpit is a new curved panoramic display with crisp OLED technology. The thin, freestanding screen combines an 11.9-inch driver instrument display with a 14.5-inch touch screen.  
 
To entertain front seat passengers, there’s an available 10.9-inch display right that’s perfectly integrated into the dashboard design. It can give access to online games and videos or let the passenger play copilot by inputting navigation points. A privacy setting makes the screen invisible to the driver when the A6 is in motion. 
 
The Audi’s cabin, with its sophisticated aeroacoustics, is the perfect venue for the optional Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. With a total of either 16 or 20 speakers, including two in each of the front headrests, the sound experience soars to a new level. 
 
With the A6, take your pick from three different trim levels. From the quattro S tronic, to the Progressiv quattro S tronic, to the flagship Technik quattro S tronic, each offers unique features to enhance the driving experience.  

In addition, you can opt for the Sport Plus Package with its distinctive S line bumpers front and rear, front Sports Seats Plus with ventilation and carbon micro-twill inserts, a sports steering wheel, and 21-inch multi-spoke twist wheels in black with red brake calipers.  
 
Then there’s the S line Black Optic Sport Package with those distinctive S line front and rear bumpers, black Audi rings and badging, along with mirror caps, window surrounds, and door handles finished in stealthy black.
