SPEEDMOB – THE CONFIDENCE BOOST EVERY CHILD NEEDS

SPEEDMOBB FAMILY SURPRISE TOHNISTYLE'S SON

It was a tough summer for Josh, our oldest son. It was his last year of elementary school. We sent him to a new camp where he was bullied before transitioning to middle school.

This was difficult for us as a family. We decided to shine a bright light on bullying.  Josh is a bright young man and loves helping others.  A few years ago he attended New York  University School of Architecture on a scholarship. One of his goals is to make prosthetic body parts for amputees. It’s important to keep his passion and self esteem uplifted. Oftentimes when children are bullied it robs them of their self-confidence.

Josh loves the Dodge Challenger, Charger, STR8. I coordinated with TJ from the Speedmob family to surprise him at his new middle school. Tohnistyle also had a food truck to provide food and drinks.

During Josh’s first week of middle school, the Speedmob family gave him a surprise visit.  The convoy drove slowly shouting out his name as he waited to go home after school. Josh was very surprised to see twenty plus custom luxury Dodges driving by waving at him.  His brother Paxton and I acted surprised so Josh could relish this special moment. The look on his face said it all. He was extremely happy.

The Mob Family gave him encouraging words. Some shared stories of their middle school years of being bullied. The Speedmob Family is a collection of individuals who own luxury and custom Mopar Dodges. They have a passion for empowering children in our community with positivity. Everyone, including Josh’s fellow students were grateful to the Speedmob Family for making an appearance. He said mom I have a new family now!

Effects of Bullying

Bullying can affect everyone—those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying. Bullying is linked to many negative outcomes including impacts on mental health, substance use, and suicide. It is important to talk to kids to determine whether bullying or something else is a concern.
