Paul Anka first listed his French-inspired villa in Westlake Village, about 42 miles west of downtown Los Angeles, in 2023 for $10 million. However, after almost three years on and off the market without anyone stepping up to seal the deal, the freshly updated residence in the exclusive guard-gated Sherwood Country Club community has once again popped up for sale.

The legendary singer-songwriter—known for crafting hits like My Way for Frank Sinatra and She’s A Lady for Tom Jones, as well as for taking tunes from Lonely Boy to Put Your Head on My Shoulder to the top of the charts on his own—is now seeking a dash under $9 million for the property. He acquired it in 2007 for $4 million, shortly after it was newly built, and later tailored it to suit his personal tastes. The listing is held by Ginger Glass and Alexandra Glass of Compass.

Set beyond a lengthy gated driveway on almost six acres—one of the largest lots in the affluent enclave—the two-story structure offers four en suite bedrooms and half a dozen bathrooms in roughly 7,000 square feet. In addition to a mix of stone and dark-stained hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and designer lighting, ritzy extras include a professional recording studio, a billiard room, a hidden office, and a freestanding glass-walled gym. An expansive motor court and a garage can accommodate up to 10 vehicles.

A portico entry with custom oversized iron and glass doors opens into a double-height entry foyer, which is flanked by a pair of colorfully hued living rooms lined with numerous gold records. The formal dining room has a fireplace and collapsible glass doors leading out to a terrace, while the kitchen sports high-end Viking appliances, an eat-in island, and a curving window-lined breakfast nook.

The perks continue outdoors, where the newly landscaped grounds overlook the clubhouse and hold a sundeck-encased infinity pool with a Baja shelf, a fire pit lounge, an alfresco dining and barbecue area, and the aforementioned gym.

A member of the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, the 84-year-old Canadian crooner recently worked on his February-released album, Inspirations of Life and Love, in the estate’s recording studio. The process was included in the HBO Max documentary, Paul Anka: His Way. Currently on his North American All Hits tour through 2026 and developing a Broadway show alongside writer Rupert Holmes, Anka told the New York Post he has decided to relocate to Nevada but will keep a smaller home in the L.A. area.
