Ocean Alexander Just Added Two New Superyachts to Its Puro Series

It’s double trouble at Ocean Alexander.

The Taiwanese shipyard has unveiled not one but two superyachts, completing the Puro series that it first presented in March 2024. The new 30P and 40P (pictured top) bookend the existing 35P, with the three models united by a shared design DNA yet offering slightly different cruising experiences.

“The completion of the Puro Series is a defining moment for Ocean Alexander,” yard president Johnny Chueh said in a statement. “From the beginning, the ambition was to create more than a single model. We wanted to build a family of yachts with a clear identity, one that speaks to owners around the world who value beauty, craftsmanship, and true capability.”

Created in partnership with Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta and naval architect Andrea Agrusta, the Puro series puts a fresh spin on luxury, eschewing excess and fleeting trends in favor of a pure, timeless aesthetic. “Every line has intention, and every space is meant to feel natural and inviting,” Cassetta adds. “Seeing all three yachts together is especially meaningful because the design story now feels complete.”

Measuring just under 104 feet, the 30P is billed as a “globally minded take on the motor yacht.” At 132 feet, the 40P is larger and more commanding, offering additional space and slightly flashier features. Spanning 114 feet, the 35P sits squarely between the two.

All three showcase the same four-deck layout, with a breezy sundeck at the pinnacle. Each one can sleep up to 10 guests, offering a full-beam owner’s suite with dual bathrooms on the main deck, along with two VIPs and two twins on the lower deck next to the crew quarters. The main deck is home to the salon, dining room, and galley, the bridge houses a lounge and an alfresco dining area aft, and the sundeck is equipped with an open-air lounge and bar.

There are subtle differences between the three, though. The 40P has a versatile space in the lower deck that can be used as a dive room, gym, or spa. That same spot is a dive store on the 30P and a beach club on the 35P. The new 30P and 40P have beach clubs, too, but they are open rather than enclosed. The pool’s positioning also changes slightly with each model. The 40P is graced with a striking infinity-edge pool aft; the 30P also has a pool aft, but it is a little more modest; and the 35P has a pool in the bow.

Another major difference is propulsion. The 30P and 35P are both equipped with twin MAN engines rated at 2,000 hp, while the 40P packs two more powerful MANs that can produce 2,600 hp. The top speed and range of each model have not been shared by the yard.

Both the 30P and 40P are set to make their world debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late 2026.
