As Mangusta has seen lately, three really is a trend.

The Italian yacht builder has just sold its third Oceano 52, a 170-foot steel-and aluminum superyacht that offers up even more space to unwind that a typical vessel of its size. To bring the project to life, Mangusta’s parent company Overmarine worked alongside design Alberto Mancini to ensure that the superyacht was a true ode to indoor-outdoor living.

And the owner can choose to enjoy their new vessel however they’d like, thanks to the customizable design of the Oceano 52. For this 170-footer, they chose to place two guest cabins at the bow. That means the owner’s suite gets a fully custom design with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer up 180-degree views of the sea—and they can also enjoy a private terrace with an infinity pool, too. Three more accommodations will be housed on the lower deck, one of which will be a full-beam VIP cabin.

As for exteriors, this Oceano 52 is home to plenty of clean lines, along with a spacious beach club in the rear. The yard plans to deliver the superyacht at the end of 2028, when it will start to cruise the Mediterranean Sea as a private vessel. As for its sistership, the first Oceanco 52 was snapped up in October 2025; for that vessel, the owner opted for a slightly different layout, with a fitness area on the main deck and two VIP cabins, with one acting as an office. Though that first vessel will also be home to the owner’s suite with the private terrace and pool, too.

“The sale of three Mangusta Oceano 52 units in rapid succession attests to the incredible appeal of an innovative project capable of going beyond the traditional boundaries of the segment below 500 GT,” the yard’s sales manager Ivan Adzic said in a press statement. “This is a yacht that offers owners lifestyle, volumes, and contents normally found on much larger vessels. This unit was purchased by European owners that were already Mangusta clients, and this makes us particularly proud. Their first experience with a smaller yacht from our range persuaded them to remain part of the Mangusta family.”

The Mangusta family has also grown a bit as of late. The yard just unveiled its new GranSport 38, a sporty superyacht that stretches 124 feet. The launch is home to an asymmetric design on two of its decks, as well as an infinity pool at the bow and a two-level beach club.
