Magnifica Air Unveils the First Jet in Its Fleet With ‘Private Class’

Magnifica Air is getting closer to takeoff.

The U.S.-based luxury airline, launched by cofounders Wade Black and Stacey Carey in late 2025, just unveiled the first aircraft in its fleet, putting it firmly on track for the planned debut in 2027. The Airbus ACJ321neo jet, which was revealed at Orlando International Airport, will be one of four aircraft in the Magnifica lineup, all of which will feature the airline’s signature “private class” cabin.

“Private class is not a product enhancement,” Black said in a statement. “It is a new cabin category built around how people want to travel today.”

Magnifica Air’s four-strong fleet will eventually comprise both Airbus A321neo and A220 aircraft.

Private class is designed to sit somewhere between traditional first class and private aviation, combining the exclusive feel of a private jet with the safety and scale of a commercial airliner. Each cabin will be configured to carry approximately 54 guests in a luxurious setting. The cabin will be free of overhead bins, resulting in a spacious feel throughout. The seats will be upholstered in Italian leather and arranged to bring more comfort and connection than the traditional rows of airliners.

“When you walk onto our planes, they will feel like a private jet,” Carey shared at the House of Robb Miami in December.

The aircraft will also have the long-haul capabilities typically associated with corporate jets. The inaugural fleet member is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1133 geared turbofan engines, which afford an ultra-long range of approximately 6,100 nautical miles. That means the jet can travel 13 hours nonstop. The engines are quieter and more fuel-efficient than previous generations. They can also run on Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). That underscores Magnifica’s goal to operate some of the greenest jets in the segment.

The new ACJ321neo has already been decked out in the Magnifica Air livery and will now undergo interior outfitting, where it will be transformed over 10 months into the airline’s bespoke configuration.

The Magnifica fleet will eventually comprise both Airbus A321neo and A220 aircraft. (The latter is a smaller plane with a shorter range.) Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with the inaugural route from South Florida to New York. Additional routes will follow, including Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Jose, and Chicago.
