Ketel One Heirs Are Selling Their Custom Miami Duplex for $30 Million

A top-shelf property has just been poured onto the market in Miami Beach’s Sunny Isles.

Janet and Carl Nolet—11th-generation heirs to the Dutch distilling dynasty behind Ketel One vodka—are shaking things up with the sale of their custom-crafted sky villa at the ultra-luxe Turnberry Ocean Club. The two-story penthouse, now listed for $29.75 million, was originally priced at $32 million—a smooth $2 million off the top.

The Nolet family has been perfecting the art of spirits since 1691, when the first copper still fired up in Schiedam, Holland. Today, Carl carries on that legacy as executive vice president of Nolet Spirits USA, while his family continues to craft some of the world’s finest vodkas and gins. That same spirit of precision guided the couple’s Miami home: In 2021, they bought the raw space pre-construction for $16.1 million and, with Janet leading the charge, transformed what would’ve been four separate condos across two floors into a mega aerie following a $7 million renovation.

“This was supposed to be their forever home so no expense was spared,” listing agent Haydar Alchalaby of Compass, who’s representing the property with colleague Ivan Chorney, told The New York Post. “Every piece of the property down to the studs and concrete was redesigned.”

The result is a five-bedroom, seven-bath duplex with triple insulation in the floors, walls, and ceilings keeps the home whisper-quiet, while hidden speakers and integrated Control4 smart tech ensure it can go from Zen retreat to full-on nightclub at the push of a button. Inside, the 7,000-square-foot interior soars with 22-foot ceilings and walls of glass that frame the Atlantic like a well-cut crystal tumbler. Elsewhere, three private elevator foyers are each wrapped in Chanel jacket–inspired wallpaper.

Luxury design moments are mixed throughout. The primary suite features a Dior door and a Baccarat entry to the bath. Janet, a friend of the late Karl Lagerfeld, even incorporated a makeup chair designed by the fashion icon himself, The Post reported. The 1,000-square-foot walk-in closet is topped off with a jewelry safe that doubles as a panic room—complete with an ocean view.

In the primary bath, the space is lined with $750,000 worth of ivory onyx tile featuring a $20,000 Toto Zero-Gravity tub that simulates floating. Outdoors, a 4,000-square-foot wraparound loggia acts as an open-air lounge with a private pool, Jacuzzi, and barbecue area. Six-foot glass railings and coral stone floors add the finishing touch.

The property also comes with a private beach cabana valued at $1.5 million—for separate purchase—and six parking spaces. Residents enjoy all the perks of the Turnberry lifestyle: championship golf, tennis courts, and the Tidal Cove Waterpark, plus yacht docking and VIP private jet privileges via Fontainebleau Aviation at Opa-Locka Executive Airport.

For the Nolets, the sale is more of a strategic pour than a last call. “They’re moving a lot as their lifestyle shifts,” Alchalaby added. “They’re moving from Europe to the Midwest to California and down to St Barts. This property is just being used for the children’s executive meetings for their new brand.”
