After six years of ownership, model and actress Kaia Gerber is officially strutting away from her New York City apartment. The 24-year-old daughter of 1990s supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber has hoisted her stylish digs in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood up for sale at a speck under $5.8 million. Georgia McDonald of the Power Team at Corcoran holds the listing.
Records show Gerber acquired the property from actor Mike Myers in early 2019 for nearly $4 million. According to 6sqft, the Austin Powers and Shrek star bought two units in the full-service, boutique condo building in 2007. He had likely planned to combine them but never got around to it and listed them in 2015, first individually and then for a combined $21.5 million.
Myers finally offloaded the duplex penthouse in 2018 at a reduced price of $13.2 million. The smaller unit initially hit the market in September 2017 for $4.5 million and was reduced to $4 million before going to Gerber in early 2019 at a slight discount for around $550,000 more than he originally paid.

Perched on the fifth floor, the recently renovated loft offers two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a powder room across roughly 2,100 square feet boasting white oak floors, 11-foot ceilings, custom furnishings, and abundant natural light. There’s also an in-unit washer and dryer, plus central air conditioning
Other highlights include a private elevator that opens into a spacious great room sporting a linear gas fireplace with a new oak surround and large windows overlooking Mercer Street. An adjoining dining area can seat at least 10, while the Bulthaup-designed kitchen features stainless-steel countertops paired with high-end Miele, Gaggenau, and Sub-Zero appliances.
Secluded down a hallway past the powder room is the primary bedroom, which hosts an east-facing balcony, a walk-in closet, and a sleek Carrara marble bath with dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a glass-encased rain shower. The additional bedroom has its own marble bath.

The new owner will also be privy to plenty of amenities via a $2,941 monthly common charge, including a 24-hour doorman, a concierge, a gym, and a private 75-square-foot storage room in the basement. The pet-friendly building is also easily accessible to nearby shopping, dining, and transportation.
Known for her runway and fashion work, Gerber has walked in shows for Chanel, Versace, and Saint Laurent. She’s also had roles in the TV shows American Horror Story and Palm Royale, as well as the films Bottoms and Saturday Night. Per the New York Post, Gerber is selling because she has relocated to Los Angeles to film Ryan Murphy’s new series, The Shards.
