Do you prefer spending your free time golfing or yachting? At a newly built villa in the plush Costa Palmas community in Mexico‘s Baja California, you won’t have to choose.
Sunset Villa 9 is a sprawling 10,000-square-foot Four Seasons branded residence, perfectly positioned along the fairways of the resort’s premier Robert Trent Jones II–designed golf course. Homeowners also enjoy access to the Costa Palmas Marina, the most exclusive superyacht port of call in Los Cabos.

The top-floor primary suite has both indoor and outdoor shower spaces.

The $16 million villa spans two levels with six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms in total, plus a service suite for staff. On the upper level, you’ll find a casual living room with an accompanying bar. Drinks can be enjoyed at the small dining area in the center of the room or taken to the outdoor terrace, which looks out over the greens. The primary suite on this floor occupies a private wing, where the blue-tiled bathroom has both indoor and outdoor showers, plus a soaking tub. On the other side of the living room are an additional four bedrooms, including a bunkroom for children.
Downstairs is where you’ll find the bi-level great room. Here, the living room sits opposite the dining area. Glass pocket doors spill open to another terrace with an outdoor dining setup. Quick bites can also be had at the large marble island in the nearby kitchen. A second primary suite is tucked away with the bed positioned to look out on the golf course and the palm trees swaying in the breeze.

The lower-level great room spills out onto the pool area.

There’s a private pool and a hot tub, of course, but you also have access to a suite of options across Costa Palmas. The 1,500-acre beachfront spread is home to a Four Seasons resort and the forthcoming Amanvari Resort and Residences. Orchards and farms provide fresh fruit and vegetables, and the restaurants on property come courtesy of Michelin-caliber talent. The Marina Village, for example, has Nancy Silverton’s Mozza Baja and Ludo Lefebvre’s Delphine Day Club.
Costa Palmas is home to a range of luxury homes, each of them offering a little something different. One $18.5 million sea-view villa sports a full-grown olive tree in the foyer, while another $21.9 million pad includes a private superyacht dock.
