Beyoncé Is Officially a Billionaire

Queen Bey is entering 2026 with a new title: billionaire.

Beyoncé has officially joined the 10-figure club, ending the year by crossing into a threshold that includes the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen, Forbes reported. Another member of that group is one that Bey knows rather well: her husband, Jay-Z, who became hip hop’s first billionaire back in 2019.

The singer’s jump into $1 billion territory was bolstered by her Cowboy Carter tour, the highest-grossing concert tour of the year, according to the publication. The album, which she dropped in 2024, also spawned opportunities for a Christmas NFL halftime show on Netflix, among other moves in the entertainment industry. The largest chunk of Beyoncé’s wealth, though, derives from her music; the superstar has complete control of the rights to her expansive catalog thanks to her own Parkwood Entertainment company, which helps her net a massive piece of the pie for her successful tours.

That Cowboy Carter tour, with just 32 shows in the U.S. and Europe, grossed over $450 million in ticket sales and merchandise, while the Netflix special garnered an estimated $60 million. From her music revenue to sponsorships, Knowles-Carter herself earned around $148 million in total before taxes this year, according to Forbes.

Of course, the singer’s endeavors extend far beyond music. Beyoncé has her own hair-care brand, Cécred, which she founded in 2024. She also owns a whiskey label called SirDavis, named for her great-grandfather, which also debuted in 2024 in partnership with Moët Hennessy. Plus, she and Jay-Z have quite the property portfolio, one that’s worth a cool $313 million. The Carters own many places across the U.S., from a New York City penthouse with 3,000 square feet of private terrace space to a sprawling Bel-Air estate with four outdoor pools and a 15-car garage. Where they’ll toast to the arrival of 2026—and Bey’s latest milestone—remains to be seen.
