Alec Baldwin first hoisted his sprawling estate in the Amagansett area of the Hamptons on the market back in fall 2022 for $29 million. After more than three years and no takers, the price had fallen to just under $19 million before it was taken off the market. Now the veteran TV and film actor has decided to try his hand at offloading the place once again, but this time he’s boldly raised the ask to $21 million. Scott Bradley of Saunders & Associates holds the listing.
Records show the Emmy-winning 30 Rock star acquired the circa 1700s residence in the mid-1990s for $1.75 million when he was married to actress Kim Basinger. He went on to restore an existing saltbox-style house to its original condition while tacking on a couple of modern additions. And if the property looks familiar, that’s because it appeared in his and now-wife Hilaria’s TLC reality show The Baldwins.

A portrait of Hilaria, a recent “Dancing With the Stars” contestant, hangs above the living room fireplace.

Set on over eight gated acres, three of which have been designated as an agricultural reserve, the cedar-shingled structure offers five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two powder rooms in roughly 9,000 square feet across three levels boasting glossy rustic hardwood floors, coffered ceilings, arched doorways, and wainscoted walls.
Standing out on the main level is an entrance hall that steps down to a fireside living room with French doors spilling out to a covered porch. More steps descend to a combined family room and dining area that connect to a kitchen outfitted with a checkered tile floor, an eat-in island, and high-end stainless appliances. Elsewhere is a media room, a wine-tasting area, and a wood-paneled library, plus a spacious primary bedroom sporting a fireplace, a private balcony, and dual baths and dressing rooms.

The grassy yard is spotlighted by a pool and raised spa.

The tree-laced grounds host a 625-square-foot pavilion with a fieldstone fireplace and a fenced vegetable garden, along with a western-facing, 20-foot-by-50-foot gunite pool and spa. There’s also an array of solar panels, as well as approved plans for a 1,200-square-foot expansion that would add two more bedrooms, a formal dining room, a sunroom, and a large screened-in porch.
The couple, who were married in 2012, also maintain an apartment in New York City’s West Village and a 55-acre estate in Vermont.
