Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan of Studio MK27 is renowned for his modernist residences, which typically feature clean lines, natural materials, and seamless connections between the indoors and outdoors. (Think of him as Brazil’s answer to Frank Lloyd Wright.) Those daydreaming of moving into one of his impossibly sleek creations just got lucky. A Palm Beach home by the award-winning architect is on the market for $47.5 million with Christian J. Angle Real Estate.
Completed in 2017, the single-story residence crowns nearly an acre of land along the upscale street of Via Marina. A verdant garden by noted landscape architect Keith Williams of Nievera Williams Design starts at the front gate and runs right around the 6,545-square-foot abode. Inside, Vitrocsa glass walls provide yet more views of the surrounding greenery while blurring the boundaries between inside and out.

Interior designer Diana Radomysler, another Studio MK27 talent, opted for materials and furnishings that complement the tropical setting. Teak rods line the ceilings, travertine runs across the floors, and a sculptural Virginia flagstone separates the main living areas from the private wing.

A gallery hallway leads to the living and dining areas, which are both anchored by a huge backlit built-in that can display your finest objets d’art. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors slide open to an expansive covered patio with an outdoor living room that includes a suspended metal fireplace.

Back inside, the dining area seats 10 people beneath a set of quirky hanging jar lights. The nearby kitchen seats just as many, with a long central table flanked by sleek cabinetry, a gas stovetop, and double ovens. Elsewhere lies a cozy family room with a gas fireplace and a scenic-view office with designated shelf space for trophies.
Of the four generous bedrooms, the primary suite is quite rightly the standout, offering a built-in bed with a floating nightstand, a walk-in closet, dual bathrooms with stone-clad showers, and near-180-degree views of the leafy property.
Sun-soaked Musa and palm trees border the oasis-like grounds, which are outfitted with a swimming pool, a firepit, a wooden deck for entertaining, and a two-car garage. The foliage doubles as a privacy buffer, preventing any passersby from seeing inside. That is essential for a mostly glass house.
