Faith required to be Alive

I have been doing some brainstorming of how I can put together different people’s truth’s to bring a lesson of true beauty and faith. So often people are always looking outside of themselves and trying to rely on other people who are struggling and need more help then them. The true beauty of life is knowing that you can live life abundantly when you have the faith to truly love yourself flaws and all.

What really got me thinking about health and being able to sustain our self without the help of deceit and falsehoods was Nicki Minaj’s speech for her fifth win at the BET awards. All I could think is what is Nicki talking about but than after processing her words it made perfect sense with the foolishness of today. Nicki said, ” The other day, literally I didn’t tell anybody this, I really thought I was about to die. Like, I was saying my prayers to die. And I didn’t even want to call the ambulance because I thought, `Well if I call the ambulance, it’s going to be on TMZ. And I would rather sit there and die ……And it made me realize I don’t care what anybody got to say. I’m going to do me.”

Truth be told our body, spirit and soul has more than enough to heal us in our times of pain and trouble all that is needed is faith to make it through. I’m not a big fan of Hospitals because really we are all just human and how can anyone expect someone who essentially can’t help themselves be able to save a life. Everyone who can be alive, awake and alert fully is capable of sustaining themselves with the proper knowledge. Nicki Minaj clearly get’s life since she is in the positon she is in and hopefully others can try to be more alive. Really Nicki’s experience is a metaphor for how people are too often scared of not getting someone’s approval or anxious over the wrong things.

Being truly alive means you know how to take care of your body, spirit and soul without worrying about the next man. Oh and I remember a lady rambling on about her Native American father and how he lived with cancer for over twenty years. What amazed me about the story is that while battling cancer the old man did not go to the hospital until the day he died and if this was true than he definitely was a true life testimony of having faith. Really nowadays I can’t blame anyone for not wanting to be treated in the Hospital for the lack of care of patients health. As a matter of fact some elderly die in nursing homes due to neglect ,so health care is more than going to the hospital or what a doctor thinks is best.

My favorite chapter in a book I just completed is “Caregiver” because that is probably one of the most greatest thing someone can be for someone—their caregiver. The simple truth is that a lot of people really don’t genuinely care and that is the problem with the World today, but although there is so much hatred you can start by caring about yourself. I am inspired and appreciate those who dare to actually love themselves in a World that is pushing so many to hate themselves. More than anything we should be our own caregivers so that we don’t hurt ourselves or allow someone else to hurt us. When the new normal seems to be a world of neglect nothing is wrong with choosing the alternative to health care, and that means having faith to give self-love. Choose to take great care of your body, spirit and soul and keep loving your self.
